Dormi o Mordi è stato registrato da babalot a Roma, nel corso di circa quattro anni. Tutti hanno suonato un po' di tutto, dagli strumenti più comuni a quelli più improbabili o improvvisati, e Sare ha collaborato alla scrittura dei testi. Le tracce sono state poi mixate da Matteo Cantaluppi al Tempel Studio di Berlino e masterizzate in analogico da Stefano Moretti, sempre a Berlino. La grafica dell'edizione su CD è opera dell'artista francese Vincent Longhi.

Il disco è stato realizzato grazie a una campagna su Indiegogo attraverso la quale sono stati raccolti i soldi per pagare mix, master e stampa. Esce per le etichette Aiuola Dischi e diNotte Records.
